Talk about some funny sounding accents ...

So, I'm sitting here in Knoxville, TN, and it's amazing the Southern accents that people have in this state. I have to confess that I've definitely laughed in some people's faces as they used a slow, drawn, unintelligent accent to say something to me. It's not that they're unintelligent by any means, but they just sound unintelligent. God love them. The worse part is that if I'm around some relatives for too long with this accent, then I start saying things slow, drawn and unintelligent. It's trickery I tell you. Trickery.

So as you have probably guessed. I'm currently in Knoxville visiting my family before I head out of the country. It's been a good stay and I have less than a week before I head up to school. I'm having fun being lazy and enjoying my summer before the heat gets turned on and I'm in summer session ....abroad. Hehe.

Anyways, nothing new over here other than I consider myself a travelling nomad. Also, I bought the new India.Arie cd and it's AMAZING. Worth the wait. (But couldn't wait Tizza, sorry). It's amazing and I recommend it for everyone. Go buy it.
