'Rize' up!

What's going on my friends!

Well, summer has been amazing so far. It's been surprisingly slow and borderline boring. But no frets - I can amuse myself. Trust me. The most recent awesome time I had was this past weekend where I ran a 5K marathon and went to the lake with two OSP Project friend, Lisa and Sara.

The run went well. It was a tribute to the late Sam Woodell. He was a boy in my neighborhood who was two years younger than me. It was a big loss last winter but it was great to see so many people (about 400) to come out and support Sam's family. Whooo!

The lake was a blast too. It was awesome to hang out with the girls. I had missed the whole "Project" feeling. Plus, what's can possibly be more fun than hang out with two great girls, the family, jet skiing, wakeboarding, water skiing and tubing the day away!? Seriously people, we're talking serious fun. Not to mention, on Saturday my dad getting out our devil-bird, Toby. My dad put him on the floor of our lake house and placed his ball cap over him so all you could see what this moving hat. It was hilarious, but the best part was when Toby got out from under the hat and made a beeline straight for my dad's toes and BEAKED HIM! We're talking one heck of bite. My bird is crazy.

Other than that, you can't forget the van breaking down and all of us having to pile into my car laughing all the way home. Amazing.

Tonight, I'm meeting up with the girls again and we're gonna grab a bite to eat and then see Rize: the documentary. Should be a good time. Hollar at a girl. Peace.
