So, what about it?
Hello all.
I'm in a fairly good mood this afternoon even though it may be raining outside. I'm excited for the coming weekend where I get to leave Athens and go on a leadership retreat with Campus Crusade for Christ. I'm excited because a few friends will be going and I really want to learn and develop more as a Christian leader. So this weekend will be a great adventure.
Soccer is around the corner. We start on Monday and honestly I have some mixed emotions about it. I mean, I love the girls and I love soccer. But I've been enjoying my time as a "normal student". But this next year is the last and I want to make the most of it. I just have to get out of this lazy funk I'm in. I guess the overcast and rainy skies hasn't been helping. Makes me sleepy.
WHO DEY! Talk about a fun quarter. I'm finally playing a sport that I haven't played since freshman year HS. That's right friends, basketball. I'm excited because we signed up yesterday for the intramural women's league. Some of my teammates and I are going to be dawning some tight tee's and sweat bands come next Tuesday. I can't wait to see how good (haha) we're going to be!! Wish us luck!
Also, class is good. I'm getting use to the idea that I have to read a lot. Quarter is busy with athletic adventures and Crusade/AIA. I'm also excited because my friend, Becky, is discipling me this quarter. She'll be challenging me in my faith and I need that. I'm glad that I'm more plugged in this year than I was last. SO I"M EXCITED! Wha hoo.
I have the N64 this quarter so any of you who think they can beat me a Tony Hawk ...think again.
