The Missing Links...
Yes, I'm sitting here at the library once again. And, yes, I still have oodles of time before my last final on Monday night. But in the wake of my mass amounts of time, I remember how little of time I have before the ones I love here at Ohio University leave. This past weekend has been full of "goodbyes" to many of my friends until early January, but there are two friends in which I will not be seeing come time for class. These two friends are very close to me and have added to my college experience here at Ohio University.
One of my friends, a Canadian, I have spent a good 2 and a quarter years with. I remember meeting her for the first time in the family room of Sander's house. I remember hanging out with her last year and naming her house, "The Beach House". We created some great memories in the Beach House, from wrestling, movies, sleep-overs to AIA. I will never forget how she would always help me out when I had a crucial photography assignment due. She would always lend a hand, or a smile in my case, to a friend in need. I'm going to miss this Canadian and the fun times we've shared together.
The second of my friends, a Floridian, I have had the pleasure of playing soccer with. Not many people go through trails and tribulations together, but I feel like we endured a lot together. Two words: Lake Hope. She has added to my life in ways that I can't actually describe. She has taught me a lot about my self and a lot about the warm weather in which I desire to live. I'm excited that I had a chance to play soccer with her, but I'm most thankful for being able to be a sister with her. Athletes in Action to our road trip to the AIA conference in Lima, Ohio, I will never forget. Good times, good times.
I want to give a shout out to the two of these beautiful ladies and thank them for all the great memories we've experienced together. You are pure sterling and I thank you for just being you. I pray that you embark on the journey's of life and never look back. Remember to always remember your girl and I look forward to the memories to come!
