I'm Home, I'm Home!
Guess what ladies and gentlemen: I made it back home to Ohio.
Just as I thought, it's raining cats and dogs here. I shouldn't have thought any better because it ALWAYS rains here. Nothing like getting the bottom of you're pants drenched I always say. Ahhh, the wonderful grey skies and puddles. It definitely made it interesting walking to class today. But I was a busy bee, that's for sure. I had a lot I needed to take care of.
First off, I arrived back at 41.5 W. Washington to 2 broken windows and one that was pulled open that allowed water in our basement. Talk about window problems. Thankfully, nothing was stolen. SO...now we have to talk to our "not-so-nice" landlord and beg him to fix our ginormous hole in our windows. Good thing it's raining outside and chilly. Who needs heat anyways?
I did, however, deep clean my room today. I was very proud of my progress. I was able to unpack quickly and successfully and rearrange some of my furniture, as well as, change the sheets on my bed, sweep, dust and vaccum the floor. Goodness gracious, I'm exhausted.
Class was good. Turns out I'm going to actually read a lot this quarter. I'm really excited for my religion class - Religion and Violence. Hopefully it's a good one. I also have my Current World Issues class with two friends. It was nice walking into a fairly large class and being able to spot our two familiar faces: one of a teammate, Callie, and one of an OSP'er, Chapman. Sweet times. Two of the four classes down thus far...we'll see what tomorrow brings.
Anyways, I'm a little scatter brained right now so I'm gonna leave you with that. Have a great night.
